Yandere was mine. I basically just copied it from last year. I would like it if you added "Pining for a Yandere" that will cover the other side of Yandere, since I would be happy with a Yandere on either, or both, sides of pining.

"Conversations" and "Cooking" were both mine; I copypasted them from last year. Cooking is alright, could you also add something along the lines of "A thinks B doesn't like them back due to conversations with double meanings"? If something like that is already in the tagset, then that's fine.

And an aside - I've seen someone talk elsewhere about wanting to comment on clarification posts and such but anon commenting is off in this community, do you mind turning anon commenting on?

I've been through the freeform tagset a few times, and I've found quite a few duplicates! If you'd like to clean some of them up, here are the ones I've spotted:

As someone likely to request tags in the 27) set, I personally like that there are both "dead lover" and "feelings never revealed" options, since I could easily use both tags for a few ships and only one for others. But I can also see how they could be folded back into the first, more general tag.

For #21, I really don't think "pining for someone who very obviously hates you/dislikes you/barely tolerates you" is the same as the rest, because that one is built on the premise that the pinee actually dislikes the piner, whereas the rest just has the pining character operating on a potentially flawed assumption.

"A pining because they think B isn't attracted to their gender/sex" means A can be wrong, so it's not the same as "A pining for B whose sexuality doesn’t match A’s gender".

I'd love to request the former but I'd never request the latter, so please keep them separated.

Character A pining because character B hates/dislikes/barely tolerates them

I agree with not merging them into one, but merging them into two instead of four should work better.

I would say yes, but I'm not the nominator and I think it's always better if they get the chance to weigh in.

Potentially going with #15 ("A pining because they think B isn't attracted to their gender/sex" and "A pining for B whose sexuality doesn’t match A’s gender"):

A pines for B correctly assuming B is uninterested due to incompatible sexual orientations
A pines for B incorrectly assuming incompatible sexual orientations
incompatible orientation

I agree that there's a difference between "A thinks they're incompatible" and "they are actually incompatible," but I don't see a really significant difference between "incompatible sexualities" and "B not interested in A's gender" - does anyone else?

I think these two groups could be consolidated somewhat? Or maybe clarified?

Just a little thing, but I spotted a typo:

Should be "its" (no apostrophe).
