I really dig the one-sided pining/one side clueless dynamic they have going on, though I bet Logico reciprocates - he just needs a little push to set aside the rational and embrace the emotional for a time.

As Mamoru remembers his past, he grows aware of the bond he once shared with his men. How he misses them and wishes he could resurrect them! Maybe this takes place during the battle with Beryl, or maybe after all has been said and done and the Shitennou rest in their stones. I'd be equally happy with something set during the Silver Millenium, or some kind of canon divergence wherein the Shitennou are well and alive.

Chibiusa/Helios
Pining while awaiting their reunion, a millennium away. For something set during the dream arc, an exploration their shared dreamworld and Helios desperately wishing for Chibiusa while stuck in Queen Nehelenia's grasp.

Hotaru and her families
Her and/or her father missing each other after Hotaru is taken away to fulfil her senshi duties once more. Hotaru desperately longing to become a true family with the rest of the outers at any point. I'd really like to see Hotaru longing for family to help her cope with the feelings of isolation she struggled with due to the treatment she received at the hands of her peers.

I really enjoy the inherent pining inherent within this codependent relationship between two faithful priests. While Roberto strikes me as the more dramatic, angsty piner, I love Hiraga's quiet, incessant longing just as much.

I'd be happy to see literally anything, plot-wise. Casefic (with a side of pining), domestic days off (with a side of pining), captured by the bad guys (with a side of pining), meeting each other's family (with a side of pining)... you get the idea :D

General Preferences
I tend to prefer bottom!Roberto, if you're up for having them break their vows. I'd like for them both not to have any prior relationship experience, but am fine with past dub/non-con.

I imagine these two had a much longer acquaintance than with their other peers, and there's something rather appealing about Jigoku spending his entire lifetime pining over an Asougi. Feel free to explore young Jigoku/Genshin's relationship, or take a look at the angsty aftermath of Genshin's untimely death.

Jigoku -> Mikotoba: I love thinking about oblivious Mikotoba being semi-pursued by Jigoku. Do Genshin and Jigoku compete over him in their youth? Does Jigoku attempt to put the moves on Mikotoba during the decade after they've returned home? I imagine Mikotoba is in a relationship with Holmes, much to his friends' surprise as they assumed he must be straight after years of pursuit he never seemed to clue in to.

Jigoku -> Kazuma: Having his feelings for Kazuma stem from his unrequited, life-long crush on Genshin is the cherry on top of poor Jigoku's life! Does he see Genshin in Kazuma, and constantly compare them? What does Kazuma make of the situation? How does Jigoku react upon hearing that he's lost Kazuma too, to death's grasp?

After witnessing Haori's extreme reactions to Ryuutarou, I have developed a great need to see more of Haori throwing herself at Susato until her feelings stick.

Does Haori assume that Susato's into guys, or maybe has someone in particular in her heart already (Kazuma? Ryuunosuke? Holmes?) ? Is it the men's clothes that do it for her, and awaken her latent desires, or is Susato dashing and gallant no matter her attire? Maybe it's the "you saved my life and I'm forever in your debt" aspect that sails this ship?

I'm still wondering about how their milk bar date went, and whether or not Susato ever clues in to Haori's romantic intentions.

There's a special place in my heart reserved for pining for family. Whether it be Kazuma or Susato pining for dead loved ones, or Iris and Mikotoba yearning for a parent/child across land and sea, they're all so painful and tragic...

The decade-long gap between the Professor case and the second exchange trip is always fun to read about. It would be cool to see something centred on the Mikotoba - Susato - Kazuma household, where they're all suffering from the separation with their other loved ones.

Kazuma seems the type to keep his pain regarding his parents to himself, though Mikotoba and Jigoku might try to address his grief together, being his only remaining parental figures. I wonder how much he actually shares about his past with Susato & Ryuunosuke, and how they grapple with what little they knew about his life once he supposedly 'passes'.

For Mikotoba, I'd love to see him longing for London and the family (Holmes & Iris) he left behind. Extra angst re: Genshin and the Professor case is always welcome too, as well as examining his guilt over leaving Susato behind while picking up a new lover and daughter in a foreign land.

When it comes to Iris pining for her unknown father, feel free to have her use John H. Watson's name (as we all know who the one she's longing for really is!).

** When it comes to Mikotoba's marriage and love for Ayame, I'd prefer if she wasn't referred to as the 'love of his life' when compared to his feelings for Holmes. I enjoy stories set in their younger years and during/post canon equally. Both pre-relationship pining and established yearning from across the world are welcome. I also like canon divergence scenarios as well - maybe Mikotoba remains in London, or departs with Susato and Kazuma as a chaperone on their exchange? Alternatively, he might come to visit for another forensic symposium down the line.

I enjoy all combinations of this trio, and I'd be happy to see any permutations of A, B and C for them. Ideally I'd love to see the OT3 all mad for each other, with Klint/Barok prior to Genshin's arrival, and Genshin/Barok in the fallout (with their love for Klint ever-present in the background). I am open to other interpretations too, however!

Klint and Barok, in an established (secret) relationship, both fall for Genshin together when he arrives in London. Somehow, he manages to see right through them. Cue some "cultural exchange".

With Klint's arranged marriage approaching, Barok's anxieties over losing his brother forever grow and grow. Genshin isn't too happy about it either... and so they make do by leaning on each other.

After the truth of the Professor case comes to light, two familiar ghosts appear by Barok's side.

A moment before the Professor's death - Klint confesses his deepest desires on his deathbed.

The van Zieks are abducted by the mob that pursues them perpetually. Genshin attempts to help and ends up taken too.
